Nature doesn't need us... we need nature 💙🌲 * * I get quite a few DM's and emails from people asking me what kind of shoes I wear hiking... honestly 95% of the time I'm in my @salomon Speed-crosses. I love them and have been wearing them for YEARS and have only got a blister once... and that was on the West Coast Trail just from my feet getting super wet, muddy and hot during the day. With the ones I brought being gortex they don't breathe super easy over long durations of time... I love them cause I can trail run if I need to and I just feel light weight and faster an they are just plain COMFY... oh and they come in lots of rad colours 😂Also I'm usually always a 8.5 in shoes and I always size down to a 8 in these! Link in bio! @canadiantire #colemancanada #getoutsideday #canadiantire * * I like to refer to Waterton as Alberta’s Hidden Gem, because I find it to be a place that’s not as well-known as Banff, Lake Louise or Jasper. I visited Waterton for the first time only five years ago and have been back every summer since, as the hiking is limitless. Located right on the Alberta-Montana border, it’s a lot smaller, quieter, and has a great vibe to it. I find Waterton to be a lot more lush with greenery, full of wildflowers, waterfalls and little backcountry lakes. With its red rock colours, it’s especially unique compared to other mountain ranges! I really can't believe August is going to be half over, summer is going by way to fast and I can't lie and say it makes me sad! I'm such a summer girl but beginning to look forward to what fall is going to bring my way. I have been busy this past week as I finally got my own space and will be moving out of the parents place, where I've been for the last ten months 🙈 Timber and I are excited as there are two German Sheperds living upstairs! 🐶🐶 Also just been busy at the lake with family and friends. * * I have a couple more mountain adventures and camping trips planned before I start school September 5th, along with lake days. It is going to be so weird being a student Monday to Friday again Full- Time, as it has been 8 years since my Social Work Diploma as a Mon- Fri student (as my social work degree I just did on weekends).
